Zoho and .NET platform for a public-sector procurement business
A UK public-sector procurement business, working together for several years
The whole operational system for a firm that runs procurement frameworks and tenders: a heavily customised Zoho suite, a .NET Web API in Azure, AI tender scoring and two WordPress sites kept in step with the CRM.
The problem
The business manages contracts, procurement frameworks and tenders for public-sector clients, under two brands. Supplier onboarding, credit checks, tender scoring, contracts, invoicing and the public websites all depended on people re-keying data between systems.
I'm the technology lead. Zoho is the system of record, and anything Zoho can't do comfortably goes to a .NET Web API that Zoho calls from buttons, workflows and schedules.

- WordPress sites synced from the CRM
What I built
- Zoho CRM with 30+ custom modules, 200+ workflows and Blueprints for supplier onboarding and the tender lifecycle
- 500+ Deluge functions across CRM, Creator and Flow, 100+ Zoho Forms that pre-fill from the CRM, and 50+ Zoho Writer templates for contracts and supplier packs
- Zoho Sign set up so a signed document files itself against the right CRM record
- A .NET Web API in Azure for supplier checks: Companies House, the Insolvency Service, the FCA Mutuals register, credit checks and Find a Tender opportunities
- AI tender scoring: long, evidence-heavy tender submissions scored against the public-sector criteria, with scores and reasoning that match or beat industry experts, tested against submissions they had already scored
- A .NET 8 and PHP 8 sync platform that makes Zoho CRM the source for two public WordPress sites, with dry runs, drift detection and end-to-end tests
Full architecture, specification and test documentation, so the platform can be maintained by the wider team rather than depending on one person.
